The Cleveland Browns selected Johnny Manziel in the first round of the 2014 Draft and after fifteen career games, the Browns partied ways Manziel and he’s been unemployed since.
Earlier this year, Manziel decided to clean up his act and work his way back into the league, even if it meant playing in Canadian Football League.
Hell, Manziel is so desperate, he even offered to play for free.
But today, Manziel finally got a chance to show he can still play at the pro level, taking part at San Diego University Pro Day, in front of NFL scouts.
Among the teams that were in attendance:
Scouts from 13 NFL teams confirmed by the school were on hand to watch Johnny Manziel throw at the University of San Diego’s pro day: Bears, Browns, Chargers, Giants, Chiefs, Jets, Patriots, Raiders, Titans, Lions, Jaguars, Panthers and Bucs. https://t.co/Le43snoSdf

But one particular team took an extensive look at Manziel.. the New England Patriots:
I’m told there were 12 NFL teams in attendance for USD’s Pro Day where Johnny Manziel was throwing for receivers. The Patriots brought Manziel inside to get an official weight for him. (He’s back up to 199 lbs.)

I don’t think the internet will hold up if Manziel signs with New England.
