On Friday, TMZ released a video showing Kareem Hunt assaulting a 19-year-old woman in a Cleveland hotel during an incident dating back to February.
Though the situation was public knowledge, the release of the video changed everything in the mind of public perception, similar to the Ray Rice ordeal.
The star running back was placed on the NFL’s commissioner’s exempt list suspending him indefinitely and was soon after released by the Kansas City Chiefs, who also cited Hunt lying to the team about the incident as part of the reason why he was let go.
Days later, TMZ also obtained police reports that show Hunt was involved in another violent incident where he and some friends reportedly assaulted a man at a Kansas City nightclub.
A short video showing the aftermath from that incident with Hunt having to be restrained has been made public:
Hunt was not arrested nor charged in either of the two incidents.
He has cleared waivers and remains a free agent, though it’s unlikely any NFL team will pick him up at this time
